ภูเก็ตเป็นเมืองที่มีรถจักรยานยนต์มากสัดส่วนของรถจักรยานยนต์ต่อหลังคาเรือน มากกว่า 1 1มีผู้บาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตจากอุบัติเหตุจราจรสูงเป็นอันดับต้นๆของประเทศ สาเหตุหนึ่งคือความไม่มีประสบการณ์ในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์อย่างถูกต้อง และการเมาสุรา นักศึกษาวิทยาลัยเทคนิคภูเก็ตเป็นกลุ่มผู้ขับขี่จักรยานยนต์ที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตมากที่สุดกลุ่มหนึ่ง

วัตถุประสงค์

1. ลดอัตราการบาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตของนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยเทคนิคภูเก็ต
2. ให้ความรู้ทั้งทางทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติแก่ผู้รับการฝึกอบรม รวมทั้งสร้าง
ทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการขับขี่ปลอดภัย
3. สร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างโรตารีกับชุมชนเกี่ยวกับการลดอุบัติเหตุจราจร

ระยะเวลาดำเนินโครงการ วันที่ 13 พ.ย. 2547 เวลา 8.00 - 16.00 น.

งบประมาณ 10,000 บาท จากงบของกิจกรรมสโมสร

การดำเนินงาน

1. ประสานงานกับบริษัทภูเก็ตนำแสง และบริษัท เอ.พี ฮอนด้า เพื่อให้นำทีมวิศวกร จากศูนย์ขับขี่ปลอดภัยของบริษัทมาบรรยาย และสาธิตให้กับนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยเทคนิคภูเก็ตได้ฟังและฝึกตาม
2. นัดหมายนักศึกษา รวม 80 คน มารับการอบรม
3. แบ่งการอบรมเป็นการบรรยายในช่วงเช้า และ สาธิตภาคสนามในช่วงบ่าย
4. มอบประกาศเกียรติบัตรให้กับผู้รับการอบรม

ผลสัมฤทธิ์ของโครงการ

หลังอบรม เมื่อวันที่ 13 พ.ย. 2547 นักศึกษาได้รับทราบถึงประโยชน์จากการขับขี่ปลอดภัย และมีโอกาสที่จะได้รับอุบัติเหตุจากการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ลดลง

โครงการดังกล่าวจะก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์กับบ้านเรือนประมาณ 350 หลังคาเรือน ในหมู่บ้านหมากปรก , บ้านนาส้มปอย , บ้านบางรากไม้ ของตำบลไม้ขาว

งบประมาณเป็นงบของอบต.ไม้ขาวประมาณกว่า 300,000 บาท และอีกกว่า 300,000 บาท จากของโรตารีโดยผ่านโครงการ MATCHING GRANT ระหว่างสโมสรโรตารีทุ่งคา สโมสรโรตารี วลาดิวอสต๊อก และภาค 3330

โครงการนี้คาดว่าจะเสร็จในเดือน มีนาคม 2548 ตอนนี้อยู่ระหว่างรออนุมัติโครงการจากโรตารีสากล รายละเอียดตามโครงการที่แนบมา

Land Excavation and Reservoir Formation Project

Principles and Criteria

Phuket is a hilly island which makes it difficult to find water resources, especially now that Phuket is developing at such a fast pace, the demand for water supply has consequently greatly increased .

Over a period of several years the inhabitants of Moo1 community, which comprises of Ban Mak Prok , Ban Na Sompoi , Ban Bang Ragmai and nearby villages, totaling about 350 households, have been experiencing a shortage of water supply for general consumption, forcing them to buy water every year. This is because there is inadequate water sources. So it is necessary to excavate land, donated by villagers to find new source of water. But so far no government agency has succeeded in finding a lasting solution for this problem.

Objectives

1. To excavate lands, donated by villagers to find new sources of water and to form permanent reservoirs.
2. To find a permanent solution to the shortage of water supply problem of the villagers of Ban Mak Prok, Ban Na Sompoi, Ban Bang Ragmai and nearby villages, totaling about 350 households.

Project operation

1. Let the villager who is willing to donate land for excavation and reservoir formation draw up a legal document for the donation.
2. The budget of 580,274 Thai Bahts for the project operation as submitted by the Chief of Village is derived from the following:
• Mai Khao Sub-district Administration Organization (M.A.O) will allocate 290,137 Thai Bahts.
• The remaining amount will be allocated by Rotary Club of Tongkah (R.C.T) through its own means and procedures.
3. Project coordination by Rotary Club of Tongkah's director of Community Service in cooperation with the Chief of village Moo 1
   ( Mr.Viroj Manajit )
4. Public relations work during the project duration.
   Note: 41 Thai Bahts equals to 1 US$.

Goal

The project will have met the neeeds of the villagers.
The community will participate in the project operation.
Members of R.C.T will participate in this activity under the direction of Rotary International.

Expected result

1. It is a useful project with a permanent solution to the water supply shortage problem of villagers of over 350 households.
2. It is a project with mobilization of various resources and cooperation from various parties like villagers, Mai Khao Sub- district Administration Organization and Rotary Club of Tongkah.
3. The general public will know of this charitable activity, thus the greatnesss of Rotary Club of Tongkah and Rotary International will live on.

) ภูเก็ต - กาญจนบุรี 1,000 กิโลเมตร ระหว่าง วันที่ 28 ม.ค. 2548 ถึง 5 กพ. 2548 แต่เนื่องจากเกิดธรณีพิบัติคลื่นยักษ์ TSUNAMI ถล่มภาคใต้ จึงต้องเลื่อนโครงการนี้ออกไปไม่มีกำหนด

ณ ห้างCentral Festival ระหว่างวันที่ 18 - 23 ก.พ. 2548 คาดว่าจะมีผู้ชมประมาณ 3,000 คน

ในคืนวันที่ 22 กพ. 2548 ที่จะถึงนี้ ณ ห้าง Central Festival คาดว่าจะมีผู้มาร่วมงาน 400 คน
